‘Brush up your skills’ Pathways to Painting Program 2021

We are excited to announce that JobTrail will be working with our Pathways to Painting Program partners, Dulux Group, South Cares and Modern Painting Group to deliver 15 fulltime employment opportunities that will start in early April 2021
Here’s some more information about our deadly program.
‘Brush up your skills’ Pathways to Paint program aims to provide employment program runs for 26 weeks and successful participants will gain a nationally recognised qualification along with real on the job work experience. They will learn from qualified painters and builders for the duration of the program.
Applicants must be from the Sydney metropolitan region.
The Program consists of two phases: Pre employment and Employment
Phase 1 – Pre-employment and work experience (3-4 weeks)
Late March- April 2021
In Phase 1, you will be required to attend Granville TAFE and complete 3 core Units of Competencies from Cert III in Painting and Decorating, learn basic painting and decorating skills and be matched up with supervisors from Modern Painting Group to complete 8-10 days work experience. Participants who successfully complete Phase 1 will be invited to join Phase 2 of the program.
Phase 2 – Employment
Early – Mid-April – 26 weeks fulltime traineeship Cert II in Construction Pathways
In Phase 2, you will be placed with selected supervisors from Modern Painting Group. Participants will be working 4 days a week on-site and 1 day per week training and attending the TAFE NSW Granville campus where you will complete the remainder of your Cert II in Construction Pathways.
