We are delighted to announce that the Glencore NSW Pathways Program will go ahead in the Hunter Valley area in 2021.
We are now seeking expressions of interest from Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people. The program starts on the 22nd of March.
The Pathways Program aims to provide employment opportunities for 15 Aboriginal Australians living in or with connections to the Upper Hunter area of New South Wales.
The Program is broken into two phases. Phase 1 provides participants with back to work skills, mine site compliance safety training and a range of life skills.
Phase 2 includes training and paid work experience that aims to get participants job ready. At the completion of the 26 week program the participants will have fulfilled the requirements to obtain a Certificate II in Surface Extraction.
